Programme Copy

Dear All

Please find attached the provisional text for the program leaflet. We
would be very grateful if you could read through it and let us know if any
errors / omissions. Please read carefully the listings pertaining to your
events and check times, venues, spellings etc v carefully. Please also
check the details for your venue in the venues section.

We have put prices in for some events - these are to encourage people to
buy festival wristbands and therefore encourage them to attend festival
events. If you are not happy with your pricing please let Robin know.

This text will be going to the designer on Friday, therefore please could
you let us have any amendments by 4pm on Thursday. We may need to shorten
some of the listings and will do our best to check any changes with you
prior to going to print.

A huge thank you to all of you for your help in pulling this program
together, we think it looks excellent - exciting and inspiring!

Best wishes
Robin and Jess.

Experiments

Hi guys!
I just want to show what I've got so far )
Well that is just a very quick experiment.

So yeah, I'm making a series of double exposure portraits and I finally made myself clear how and want to do. This Friday I spent in Brighton walking along the beach, interacting with people and shooting them. I have been choosing people being exceptionally on their own and absorbed in something. Something that divided my potential models from the surrounding atmosphere, something that they were hiding behind probably.
That's it for now. Tomorrow I'm going to scan some and write a bit more about them.

Dear Robin!
My name is Pavel Davodenko, I am a second year photography student of Bedfordshire University. First of all my group mates and I want to say thank you for giving us such an opportunity of being a part of B-fest. We think that it is a great chance to promote ourselves as artists.
Secondly I would like to give you some information about our upcoming exhibition:
1) Dates of exhibition: 01/06/2009-07/06/2009
2) Name of exhibition: "Parallel"
3) Unknown (we are truing to get one somewhere around town center)
4) Every day of existence is a long, mad dream. "Parallel" exhibition tends to awake us for a moment and escape into unknown, however similar form of reality.
5) Artists: Alina Linnas, Kamil Szkopik, Leon Mochalin, Pavel Davodenko, Valentin Rizvan.

Thank you!

RESPOND:

Hi Pavel
That's lovely - thank you so much. I have tweaked your entry in the program slightly, so that it now reads as follows:
Every day of existence is a long, mad dream. The "Parallel" exhibition tends to awake us for a moment and allow escape into an unknown, however similar, form of reality. Until 8th June
Let me know once you get your venue and if at all possible I will put it into the program.
Hope that's ok
Thanks again
Robin
